Look closely at the toe and there is no background left showing. Every petal is a long faceted stone, and the narrow spaces where the petals cross are packed with smaller stones right up to the edges, so the cluster reads as one unbroken field of light rather than flowers sitting on a surface.
The flower heads run across the front of the toe, each one a ring of petals radiating from a small centre, with clear and soft lilac heads mixed through the group. Behind them the upper is covered edge to edge in fine sparkle that flashes violet and blue as she turns. A single row of round domed beads runs the length of the instep strap, and the strap, the collar binding and the lining all carry the soft lavender that names the pair. Sizes EUR 23 to 36.
