The skirt of the maroon Roseanne II is built around a wrap-over panel of tulle that crosses the front from one hip and falls open down the opposite side, so the deep red layers beneath show through along its curve. That curved edge is finished in a fine rolled wire, and the tea length hem repeats it across two tiers. Above the waist the bodice is seamed close and carries a cluster of raised flowers and beaded leaves, with the neckline held off the shoulder on short gathered tulle caps.
